Behind the brand is Carole: a project born in Wallonia and shaped at home, one candle at a time. We care for every piece as if it were destined for our own living room.

Frequently asked questions

Are your candles really handmade?

Yes, entirely. Carole pours every candle in small batches in our workshop in Wallonia. No production line, no subcontracting.

That is also why no two candles are ever quite the same: the surface, the shade and the way the fragrance settles vary slightly from one pour to the next.

What is your wax made of?

A 100% plant-based blend we developed for K°ROL. No paraffin, no animal wax.

Where do your fragrances come from?

From the Grasse region, the historic cradle of French perfumery. We work with houses based there whose fragrances are never tested on animals.

Can I order personalised candles for an event?

Yes, and it's an important part of what we do. Weddings, births, thank-you gifts for clients, end-of-year presents: we adapt the fragrance, size, label and packaging.

How soon does my order ship?

Allow up to 3 working days before dispatch.

Some items are available right away and ship the same or next day. Others need to be poured for you: the wax then needs several hours of rest to set properly, and that step can't be rushed without spoiling the product.

It's the other side of handmade, and we'd rather tell you clearly than promise a timeframe we can't keep.
